Cost of Living Crisis

Every young person should have the financial support to allow them to meet their essential needs.

Too many young people can’t afford to meet their basic needs, let alone socialise. They are lonely and their mental health is in decline.

We have now released our Cost of Living report, sponsored by Cadent Gas, showcasing the reality of more than 100 young people who rely on the support of YMCA, and the challenges they face.

To find out more on the report, please join our webinar, which you can register your attendance for here.

Cost of Living Social Media Activity Calendar

To create as much impact as possible for YMCA’s manifesto calls, and for improved brand awareness overall, we all need to speak about the same thing, at the same time.

We realise that capacity is extremely tight across the board and have pulled together an activity calendar consisting of one key social media post each week.

Week 1: Thursday 11 April

Week 2: Tuesday 16 April

Week 3: Tuesday 23 April

Week 4: Tuesday 30 April

View the activity calendar assets here.

Additional messaging and assets are also available on portals for use throughout the month of April where teams are able, but if each YMCA could commit to posting the below in support of this month’s Cost of Living Crisis theme, it really would go a long way.
