YMCA Trust Funds
When contacting the Trust Funds, please check the Fund’s requirements, particularly if a geographic area is specified.
YMCA Metropolitan Region Trust Fund
If you have some work or plans which could use some additional funding to get off the ground, the Trust would be interested in hearing from local associations, primarily in the greater London area.
South West YMCA Trust Fund
This fund is for YMCAs based in the counties of Cornwall, Devon, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire and the former counties of Herefordshire and Avon.
Yorkshire & Humberside YMCA Fund
This fund is to support activities being conducted by YMCAs in the Local Authority areas known as North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and Humberside.
Central & Anglia Trust Fund
The trustees of the Central and Anglia Trust Fund welcome applications, especially from groups of young people undertaking YMCA projects in the counties of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Derbyshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Huntingdonshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Metropolitan District of West Midlands, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Suffolk and Warwickshire.
Douglas Wood Charity
This fund is available for YMCA’s across England and Wales and is for promoting the education and training of young persons (up to the age of 25) in farming, horticulture, agriculture, land and estate management, environmental protection and conservation or any similar profession or trade.
Hart Woodside Fund
This fund is available for YMCA’s across England and Wales. It was originally set up as a memorial trust to provide for a small annual bursary, to people with physical disabilities to enable them to participate in conferences, training, exchange programmes etc.
